Carretra Austral - La Junta / Esquel

5 rainy days of ascents and descents (sometimes steep!) to say bye bye at the Carretera Road,
after a first sunny week.

To restore our strength after a morning riding under the rain,
what else than a famous 'Carretera Sandwich':
avocado, tomatoes, jam, La Junta cheese, Mostaza, in a huge round bread (good for a chilean one, but not as good as french ones!)

Piece of sun in the rain, arriving in Villa Santa Lucia.

Class of bike for Filippe and his friend,
who helped us a lot for carrying panniers and washing bikes.
At night, we prepared a typical French dish for them: crêpes!

 Chilean road-menders are not slackers!
Kilometer markers each more or less 20 m ...

Electricians in the air.

Back on the Argentinean side, we find arid landscapes again with the fauna correspondant,
Our first Tatoo!
